gameloftGameloft is a big name when it comes to mobile platforms and they have the numbers to show for it. Since the the summer of 2008, the France-based developer has published over 100 games for the iPhone, iPod Touch, and iPad. Now, the company reports that they've sold over 20 million games through the App Store.

"The first half of 2010 marks a new step for us on the App Store," said Gameloft president Michel Guillemot. "The launch of the iPad and iPhone 4 has opened new horizons for developers and allowed us once again to transform our consumers gaming experience. 20 million paid downloads is proof that our games meet the expectations of our players and we will continue to satisfy them."

Out of the 47 iPhone and iPad games that Gameloft released for the App Store this year, 42 of them have made it to Apple's Top Grossing charts, 25 have nailed the top spot.

The publisher has 15 more games on the way. The list includes Assassin's Creed: Altair's Chronicles, Dungeon Hunter 2, and Star Batallion.

5 dollar games that are usually mini games added to you're monthly phone bill. thats not impressive...that was just too easy. thats like saying how impressive it is to sell tetris and pacman in the app store on your phone.
