Final Fantasy XIII ranks 2nd in Dengeki's Best of '09 list |

We all know that Final Fantasy XIII did well enough to break some sales record upon its launch last year, and in fact even helped boost numbers of a particular console. But was it well enough to get the coveted top spot in Dengeki's Best Game of 2009 list? Verdict is a no.
It's not so bad, though. Square Enix' baby placed second. And this is despite the fact that there have been complaints about how the game had no levels, and its over-all linearity (which the Japanese does not appreciate, apparently).
Coming in at first place is Dragon Quest IX. There are 20 games in all listed in the Best of 2009 line-up from Dengeki; check them out below.

I'm a big fan of the Gundam Battle series and I was thinking it was going to be more of the same, just Macross instead. In a way it was, just not as enjoyable.
The controls were different, but once you got used to them you were like. Man. These controls are ass. I want my Gundam Battle Universe controls back :(.
So after putting a decent amount of time into the game, I've never touched it again.

I sense fanboyism in Dengeki's Best Game list.
Corect me if I'm wrong but congrats to Uncharted for being the only non Japanese game these guys have.
