Final Fantasy XIII-2 is set for release in Japan sometime next year. A western release has been penciled in for next winter. To further whet your appetites for this sequel, here's the teaser trailer released a few days back.

Medieval armor has no place in the FF13 world canon as portrayed by the original game.

Damn straight it better! I remember a scene in XIII where Vanille and Fang were walking in a field and Vanille comments on the flowers to which Fang agrees. This is immediatley followed by some sort of period-attack whereby fang explodes in rage about her and tranforms into a monster.
It was terrible. the voices didnt help either.

FF13 bi-polar character behavior and the fact that a house plant displays more intelligence and common sence really eats you away.....
Have 5 friends that love ff games, not a single on played the ff13 to the end... having to play over 70% of the game before you actually give any freedom to the player....
And lets not get started on hope...
