FDA questions swedish studyRemember the controversial cell phone study that was preformed by Swedish National Institute for Working Life which said that the use of cell phones over a long period of time can raise the risk of brain tumors. The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) have found some contradictions in a number of the studies preformed liked the study was a mailed questionnaire and the follow-up interviews were by telephone not in person. Also there were no statistical adjustments to take other factors into account.

The FDA will still be monitoring the possible side effect from cell phones but in long term studies that have be done by Dutch Health council and a 4 year British survey there still is not evidence that cell phones have an effect on our health.

The FDA said it "plans to convene a meeting in the near future to evaluate research conducted to date in this area and identify gaps in knowledge that warrant additional research."
