On December 21st, Xbox 360 gamers will get an early Christmas present from Obsidian and Bethesda: the Dead Money DLC for Fallout: New VegasNew Vegas senior designer Chris Avellone recently laid out some of the Sierra Madre Casino's secrets in the latest edition of the Bethesda newsletter.

According to Avellone, the Sierra Madre Casino was supposed to be the greatest casino in all of Vegas. The only problem was that the bombs fell before its gala opening. The casino's security system initiated a lockdown, preventing the guests from getting out and keeping others from getting in.

The passage of time has caused the casino's climate control and air conditioning systems to malfunction and turn the surrounding area into a lethal zone. Only a bunch of hazmat suit-clad group called the Ghost People manage to survive in the area, capturing unwary victims and dragging them off into the toxic and poisonous Cloud.

The Sierra Madre has since attained a mythical status in the Wastes, with wastelanders sometimes coming across others who supposedly have maps to the "City of Gold" that holds treasures from the old world.

Can't wait for this to hit PC. First order of business would be to bring Vanessa to Elijah and maybe kick him around a bit.

My only problem is timed exclusive. Like previous DLC I've not been as excited having to wait all that time for it to come to the PS3. I still played it either way.

The longer I have to wait, the more chance I'll probably not buy it.

Me thinks they should be spending more time fixing the main title... rather than pumping out DLC.

hopefully this brings the fixes to the main title. i have to wait for a president to give a speech in the main quest when he already died earlier

I completely agree. It's all about M$ making a bit, you know?

There's not much to fix. I've played hundreds of hours and only encountered a handful of bugs, that were not (particularly) game breaking. No biggie. People are too loud and nagging for their own good. Morons.

This sounds really interesting, and I am looking forward to it.

Unfortunately, I will probably never get it since it is exclusive to 360. I will never get any console game, ever. Only pc for me. ONLY.

If it takes too long for it to come out on pc, I will probably never get it either.

Understand this! Bethesda! Morons.

I own the ps3 version and it has bugs let me tell u.
Several times it crashed on me and revolted my ps3.
Yesterday the game hanged when talking to a merchant (everytime).
All and all I dont feel safe playing more then 10min without saving so more patchiness DLC at this point I say.
Awesome game still.
