1. Fallout: New Vegas enjoys "record sales", has sold more than $300M
2. And the patches keep rolling on

Bethesda is meanwhile working on pushing out a new comprehensive patch for all three New Vegas platforms in the coming weeks. The Bethesda blog flags that one as currently being in the final testing and certification phase so it shouldn't take too long for it to be released. It will hopefully include a fix for the save game issues in the Xbox 360 version, which the devs have reportedly found solutions for.

The PC version will be also be getting another incremental patch sometime this week. Aside from addressing save game corruption issues and problems with companions, this update aims to improve performance for Nvidia users and fix a few Havok issues.

I've spent more time using the command console in New Vegas than in any other game I can remember. Most of that was just to find a workaround to get Veronica's companion quest started.

Still, it's a fun game. Now if only the PC version gets its own DarnUI.

Would be nice if they would release a fix for the PS3 to stop the frequent lock-ups. Seems every hour the game just freezes.

For me, only after the DLC, I do not want to end up with the original title and the GoTY edition, like FO3
