Despite some lackluster reviews, Microsoft and Lionhead Studios latest epic role-playing title, Fable 3, managed to take the number one spot in the UK sales charts this week. Selling a total of 128,895 copies on it’s debut, the action-packed title also became the fourth biggest Xbox 360 launch of the year and the thirteenth biggest Xbox 360 launch of all time. Last weeks number one, Fallout: New Vegas, has now fallen to the third position, while EA Sports' latest footballer sim, Fifa 11, sneaks in to the number two spot.

Rounding off the top five in UK multiformat chart for the week ending October 30 is Ubisoft's Just Dance 2 and Lucasarts latest entry, Star Wars: The Force Unleashed II, on the fourth and fifth spot respectively. New entries for the week also includes THQ's WWE Smackdown vs Raw 2011 debuting at number seven and EA's The Sims 3, which launched at number nine.

Here's the complete list of titles from Chart-Track's all-platforms sales charts for the week ended October 30:

  1. Fable III (Microsoft)
  2. FIFA 11 (Electronic Arts)
  3. Fallout: New Vegas (Bethesda Softworks)
  4. Just Dance 2 (Ubisoft)
  5. Star Wars: The Force Unleashed II (LucasArts)
  6. Medal of Honor (Electronic Arts)
  7. WWE Smackdown vs Raw 2011 (THQ)
  8. Professor Layton and the Lost Future (Nintendo)
  9. The Sims 3 (EA Games)
  10.  Pro Evolution Soccer 2011 (Konami)

I know that the Fable series are good and all but this shouldn't be on the PS3 section.

Why? It's a multi-format sales chart highlighting what's at number 1, so it should be in every section.
