SCEA have already detailed the different Killzone 3 editions that North America will get. Europe will get their own as well, of course. Sony have revealed the three different Killzone 3 editions European gamers will have to choose from come February.
Aside from the vanilla Standard Edition, gamers in Europe can opt for a Collector's Edition that comes in "Steelbook" packaging. The CE contains a PSN code for a downloadable copy of the Killzone 3 soundtrack and the dynamic XMB theme. There's also a Retro Map Pack that includes a pair of Killzone 2 maps.
Pre-ordering the Collector's Edition from select retailers can also net you one of the following bonuses:
- Guerrilla Pack - Unlocks all weapons and abilities for your first 24 hours of multiplayer gameplay.
- Fast Starter Pack - Lets you rise through the ranks faster by earning experience points at twice the normal rate for your first 24 hours of multiplayer gameplay.
- Unlock & Load Pack - Gives you 3 unlock points to use on any weapon or ability you want.
