Devil May Cry veterans Sawaki Takeyasu and Masato Kimura's new game, El Shaddai: Ascension of the Metatron, is heading overseas.

The PS3 and Xbox 360 game from Ignition Entertainment is slated for release in Europe and North America next year, but gamers will be able to get a glimpse of it at E3 this week.

El Shaddai: Ascension of the Metatron takes its cue from the Old Testament's Book of Enoch. The human Enoch and his angelic companion Lucifel must do battle against a host of fallen angels to save humanity.
