Back in 2008, it was announced that Eidos were working on a game based on the Highlander IP. We haven't heard anything new about it for two years now, and apparently it's because Square Enix thought it smelled like a dung-heap. And, presumably, the manners of a goat.
According to IGN, Highlander: The Game has been officially canceled. It was one of those projects under Eidos before they were acquired by Square Enix. The game was being developed by French studio WideScreen Games and was supposed to be released for PS3, Xbox 360, and PC.
Highlander: The Game would have been all about the immortal adventures of Owen MacLeod. For those curious, here's the first trailer released back in '08.
