EA talks about Sims 3 platform-specific features

EA has already revealed a few platform-specific features for the console and handheld versions of The Sims 3, but to give you a better idea of what that will all be like, here's assistant product manage Azure Bowie to give us more details on the difference between versions.

 

 

 

The Sims 3 will e busting out once again on October 26th 2010.

i hope they don't water down the building options and items for the console version as much as they did back then..

I think they should allow us the use of the mouse. Mice work on the XMB on the PS3, and probably some games too, so playing sims with the option of a mouse would be fun :)

I was hoping for an online mode allowing friends to come visit your sims but thats probably a bit to much to ask for. I'm not too sure if I want it for the PS3/360 because I like to mod, and you obviously can't with the consoles unless you hack them. I dunno.. We'll see :)

I think you'd only have to worry about the Wii/DS versions to be watered down. The PS3 definitely has enough space and power to almost duplicate the PC version, but there are bound to still be some limitations. The Xbox 360 is sorta the same, only with less space available on the discs.

They shouldn't because we got dual layer discs and blu ray now hopefully they use the storage to the max.

was that ds or 3ds footage because the graphics look too good to be on the regular ds, i think.
