To turn the E3 Card Reader into your own PS3 downgrading device, download the archive named "e3downgrade_12.03.rar" below and extract it to the "E3Upgrader" drive. The "E3Upgrader" drive should appear when you plug the E3 Card Reader in to your PC.

 

Note that you also need a modified PUP file of the specific PS3 firmware that you want to downgrade to. You can get a modified 3.41 PUP from the source link below.

You have no need for a downgrader. All it does is get you to 3.15

obviously upgrading you can't play with downloaded games.
And maybe the ps3 will broke after some up-downgrade...

Come on... you're gonna loose all that time for HDD copies and some lame homebrew?... Man, work one or two hours more and it's done... I work at futureshop (owned by bestbuy and pretty much the same... execpt that we're paid at commission) and I do around 25$/h (student job, I'm starting a Ph.D. in september). for two hours I can get a 50$ game and it's a nice job anyway. Why would I want to waste hours of my life cracking the ps3, downloading 50GB games and f** my PSN account and everything... man. Get a job or something..
