If you thought 2010 was a blast for the industry's expos and events, just you wait till 2011 arrives. As early as now, E3 2011 is already prepping for the mad dash to their gates, starting with the opening of their registration.
If you head on over to the official E3 website, you can save a slot for the event for yourself happening on June 7-9, 2011, again at the LA Convention Center.
For those who are working the game industry in one way or another, you get to check out the exhibit floor free, and you can register as well before April 25th. If you, however, isn't from the industry but is a mere enthusiast, US$ 400 will get you in.

does that mean even if i cough up the 400$ or 500$ that i still have to provide some kind of credentials
