The Neo Geo console turns 20 this year, and while the PSN's still having problems, it seems Sony and SNK may have plans of teaming up to put some Neo Geo titles on the network's Classics service.

The ESRB recently rated Alpha Mission II, Baseball Stars Professional, League Bowling, and Super Sidekicks for PS3 and PSP. None of these games ever got PSOne ports.

The Japanese PSN already offers PS3- and PSP-compatible TurboGrafx 16 games for download, so maybe if the Neo Geo downloads push through we'll get that service as well. What's next? Dreamcast games?

All my memories of the Neo Geo are centered on SNK's awesome 2D fighters. Happy 20th anniversary.

On another note, I kinda hope they release old Sega CD games too so I can play Night Trap again.

From MegaCD/Sega CD - Sonic CD in HD must be awesome, but not an easy game to play.

In HD? It doesn't exist Sonic CD in HD, they have to work on that.

Instead of complaining why don't you do it yourself? You can't. Nor do I care if they do or don't.

On-topic: Neo Geo, yes! God dammit, this gaming console is so expensive they better bring the games, because owning the console is only for collector's.

If you got good money then it was an okay move, but you know this console is worth a lot nowadays.

In Japan they released a SNK Playmore Online collection for PS2 with all the best titles its a damn shame we didnt get it in America and the price to import it was like 300 bux for the full collection ! I love Metal Slug, Final fight, American Heroes.

Best music Video ever...For Neo Geo :

If these are priced reasonably it as another great addition to the PSN game collection. They should work on both PS3 and PSP, like the PS1 Classics.

PSP with cfw have no online gaming support, okay it has those old games but they're old and new require PSN.

PSP with cfw? No thanks.

I could have cfw on my PSP but I prefer having 6.20 because, I can log-on to PSN and play online.

PSP with cfw is an expired PSP. :D

Bwahahaha. That's probably the dumbest excuse I've ever heard for not having CFW.

No, wait, someone actually told me that their PSP is in OFW because they want to be able to "log-on to PSN and play online."
Gwahahahaha. Oh wait. That was you o.O

I have some of the collection on PS2. I think I paid $10 for each collection at Wal-mart. One disc has Fatal Fury games and the other is World Heros. I wish they would release the Real Bout series though.

They also have a Metal Slug anthology. Waku Waku 7 Is what I really wanna see. Or possibly a sunsoft collection!

Sony needs to sort out it's fees and acceptance rules for PSN and we might get more stuff like this, i mean it's been over 3 years and it's like Sony's just getting started with Ps3, really just shows how important homebrew is.

It was once mentioned that Playstation planned to bring Dreamcast back in PS3, through PSN. ... no news about that yet?

I already have most of the games i wanted like Samurai Shodown Anthalogy, Metal Slug Anthalogy, World Heroes Anthalogy, Neo Geo Batle Coliseum. Not a fan of FF or KoF; however, i'm sure there's an Anthalogy for that too. I'd love to see Gauro Mark of the Wolves (I believe this is the only FF game that never came to the US via Anthalogies. :p), SNK vs. Capcom Chaos (Yea, i know it's on X-Box; however, i wanted it for my PS2. :( ), Last Blade series (Don't wanna import this because i figure it will eventually come here.) and Samurai Shodown V Special (We got robbed big time for this one. :p).

These old games need scanlines to look nice. They look super blocky in HDTVs.I connect my PC to my 40inch HTDV and play Mame32 with scanlines,...and the games look awesome.
