Disaster Report 4 listed for February 2011 release in Japan

Irem might have opted out of releasing the third Disaster Report game outside Japan, but there may still be hope for fans of the series. The company is currently working on the fourth entry which will be for the PS3, and now it seems a release date has been set for Japan.

According to online retailer Neowing, Disaster Report 4: Summer Memories -- or Zettai Zetsumei Toshi 4: Summer Memories as it's known in Japan -- will be released on February 24, 2011. Irem has not announced an official date yet but they will be updating th game's website tomorrow, hopefully with the official launch details.

Disaster Report 4 is the first game in the disaster survival action series to be developed for the Sony PS3. It will include support for both Move and 3D.
