Everything's peachy on the sales front of Dead Space 2, so it seems. Publisher Electronic Arts has recently announced that the sequel is selling twice that of the original frachise title.

John Schappert, EA COO, said at an investor call today that the sequel "is approaching two million units sold in - double the sell through of the original Dead Space."

Makes sense that it would sell more, since more people would know about it and be psych'd. just like this:

City Activities:

February 2010: Free item give away (unknown what it is)..... only 100 out of the 100,000 people show up. They find out it's a money give away, everyone gets $10,000.

Then:

February 2011: Free item give away (unknown what it is).... People that went to first event tel their friends how awesome the last one was. Now 100,000 people of the 100,000 people in the city show up. They find out it's Blocks of gold, everyone gets 20 blocks, each block is worth $20,000.
