Dead Space 2 is "scarier" - Riccitiello

Someone lucky enough was able to get his hands on the almost-finished Dead Space 2. EA CEO John Riccitiello would be that lucky someone, and accroding to him, this one bumps off the first title in terms of the scare factor.

Yep, that's scary.

Barely able to contain his excitement in a recent interview, he said that this sequel is definitely "scarier" than the original. He also said that the pacing was done very well, with "lots of good action" in it. The boss battles, in particular, are even more superior than the first Dead Space game. What he's certain about it is that the bosses in the boss battles aren't called bosses for nothing.

The CEO also made mention of hte high-altitude space-diving element in the game, which already sounds exciting on its own. Now, the only reason Riccitiello was able to play Dead Space 2 even when it's not done is because he's the company's big boss. For the rest of us mere mortals, we'll have to wait until January 25, 2011 to see what he's talking about.
