He does confirm, however, that the game will last for about 60 hours, with about 100 enemy types to keep you busy hacking and slashing all throughout.
That should be a big leap from Demon's Souls, which, as he noted, only took some 30-40 hours, and had 30 enemies.
Miyazaki also gave us an insight as to the name change of the game. Before they settled with Dark Souls, he revealed that they had two other names on hand for it. These, however, were rejected because of their connotations to certain countries.
