With Crysis 2 set for release within the year, it seems that Crytek is already busying itself with its next big title. According to a LinkedIn profile spotted by Connected Consoles, an "unannounced MMO FPS" is now in the works.
The LinkedIn profile in question belongs to Yegor Bondar from Crytek Kiev, which indicates plainly that the game designer is currently involved in a "Not announced MMO FPS." Apart from that, there's nothing else that would point us to any of the game's details, or even which platform/s will it go to.
Thanks again to Peter Bauer!

Sounds like Crytek is taking Zipper on on their remark about they would be surprised if anyone can do what they did with MAG.

It won't be an mmo fps if there are only 2 people playing it.

Everyone said that when Crysis came out. Now look. Everyone plays it! Because Crysis was so high end, it developed a persona around it that lead it to be the #1 benchmark game out there.
Now to say no one will play the mmo, because their system wont run it, is kinda bonkers. Yeah, many people wont be able to play it at first, but just like when Crysis came out, everyone was running to Newegg.com to shell out the cash to run a game like that. Will they do it for the next-gen mmo Crytek will put out? You bet. And Crytek would be stupid to dumb it down and not make it the best looking, kick ass combat mmo out there.
