Crysis 2 is good as 2D, but is even better if you have 3D TV - Crytek

You don't need to have a 3D TV to enjoy Crysis 2 to the fullest cos the game's in 2D anyway, but Crytek suggests that you do anyway since it's gonna be more enjoyable that way. This was the advicem made by Crytek CEO Cevat Yerli in a recent interview with Gamasutra.

"If you play Crysis 2 in 2D on a normal TV, you will have a lot of fun, but if you buy a 3D TV, you will have even more. I want our games to be one of the first games out there to show how 3D could be and what it means ofr first-person gaming.

I'm quite sure over the years it will become standard. 3D entertainment is inevitable. It will come, and the key solution will be if it's easy for the eyes. If it's a challenge for the eyes, people won't like it. But we are trying to make a game that is hours of 3D, and you can judge it for yourself."

You have until March 2011 to save up for a 3D TV then.

cryengine was downgraded for consoles , so dont expect much from it . actualy its a kid game for developers as it suport bouth 360 and ps3 and even PC .

cryengine 2 is a downgrade of the 1st one but the compatibility the consoles was emprouved and its faster , i think it will have big succes .

In a few years TV's won't need glasses to be able to show the 3D effect, because by then technology has improved a lot.

2D is completely fine, but of course I would like to play in 3D but that just isn't possible right now.

Crysis better look awesome on PS3 because its hardware needs to be used.

Do you think people that recently bought HDTV's give a flying #$!€ about 3DTV's?

It's not a great improvement, and HDTV's are excellent for games, movies and etc.

Before you know it, 3DTV's are obsolete.

what about the people who mean they cant afford one as in its not worth it, funnt that people should go get in debt to get some tv if anybody cant afford it just leave them alone, tbh this 3d bs is getting over the top people should realise that companies PAY to get people to say this stuff same way companies pay models to advetise makeup, not because its great but its where they get their sales, people need to learn that advertising comes in many forms be it a advert on tv or a company paying a developer to say "3D TVS ARE AMAZING YOU NEED ONE RIGHT NOW" basically if i like it ill get one i dont need some random persons opinion. shame most people just follow the heard and buy into this stuff

fist off the thing about crysis is ITS A FUCKIN PC KILLER or it was till the little whiny little console only bitches piped up about oh "but buuubba i wanna pway cwiss tooo" fuck that and its not even a sequel but a fucking REBOOT !??! there was ...1 ... only 1 real game "war head was same story different view" how u gonna reboot a series (and i use that term loosely) with only 1 game instead of making a sequel ... this game was one that u could brag if u could play it now its all about sales and bs so im gonna take my hard freaking earned money else were oh and fear 3 and 2 fuck u that game WAS cool but now its console style shit !
i wish the programmers and artist working on those games the best they worked there asses off only to get it tossed out in lue of lesser works ..wow i had no idea i just wrote a freaking novel ! LOL woops
