Comic-Con's supposed to be a festive time to let our inner nerds go crazy, but things went a little too crazy yesterday. Fans and media were all gathering at the Universal Studios panel when one unlucky attendee got stabbed. Right in the face.
According to reports, the victim was trying to save a seat for a friend, causing the attacker to thrust an unidentified object into the victim's face. The attacker was immediately subdued by other attendees, then subsequently arrested by the police. The attacker said the he acted in self-defense and that he's "sorry it happened."
The victim was stabbed near the eye, and medics who arrived in the scene were able to take him to a hospital, his current status has not been revealed.
