Looking forward for the upcoming release of the Parasite Eve spinoff, The 3rd Birthday, but somehow missed the opportunity to play the first two classic installments of the series? Well, here's your chance to catch up as Square Enix main man himself, Tetsuya Nomura confirmed that the classic Parasite Eve series is heading to the PlayStation Network soon.

According to Andriasang, Nomura's tweet is brief and concise. He only confirmed a re-release of the series and didn’t specify whether or not both Parasite Eve 1 and 2 would be released, however, in his previous tweets, he mentioned that both titles were under consideration. Details and an official announcement about the re-release is expected to be revealed in the coming days. Stay tuned.

Aw, Aya... I still have your games on hard disk but I'll rebuy your games because I love you so much.

One of the most under-appreciated lead female game characters ever.

Id be more excited if I didnt own it already. I wish Sony would let us rip our own PS1 discs to PSP. Good thing custom firmware exists.

If the PSP had only played my PSX titles I would have gotten one.

That would have been worth it alone.

There's not much more I could have wanted from this machine.

Especially via CFW.

My 2000 is a fine product that will last me a long time.

(Sorry sony. Maybe those shitty disposable DS' were the better business angle. :P )

The only thing I can imagine usurping it would be ps2 BC.
