Classic Halo 2 maps remade in Halo: Reach |
Listed in: Xbox 360 Tags: bungie, halo: reach

Bungie has lifted the lid on three more of Halo: Reach's multiplayer maps, two of which will be familiar to those who've played Halo 2.
Ivory Tower returns as "Reflection", and if you loved the original expect more of the same. Aside from a few tweaks to accommodate Reach's physics, the map remains very faithful to the original.
Another classic map, Midship, is getting a fresh coat of paint. As Zealot, Midship gets an extra level of elevation that takes place in space, complete with reduced gravity.
The new map is called Spire and will be available in the game's Invasion type. In this vertical map, Spartans commence on a beach assault to try and overrun a giant Covenant tower.
Videos of these maps can be viewed at the source below. Halo: Reach will be available on September 14 exclusively for Xbox 360.

Redundancy aside, and I mean this for the game too, it's really not a bad thing that they bring back classic maps. These maps were awesome and really fun to play, so why would anyone who actually enjoys the game be upset that these maps are there?

Halo, at this point, is old, boring, and played out. They said as far back as 2003 that Halo 2 would be the end. They change the story(lol aliens speak english now) around to leave it open for another sequel.
I'm glad this is their "final halo related project", because I would really like to see if they could do anything else for once. They had Marathon before but somehow they even tied that to the haloverse
