Wow, some terrible journalism here. "China", as a collective whole as indicated by the article, did not blame all the listed problems on video games. The TV show did. The producers are to blame, not the whole government (to be honest have their own problems).

The Chinese government cares as much about morality as any other big government. Meaning, not very much. The real reason they've coming down hard on videogames is because they stifle productivity, and China's continued growth is entirely dependent on the hard work and productivity of its people. Anything that compromises that is seen as an enemy of the state.

games bring violence and so do books, movies and tv shows. The thing is, when we fear, we look for someone or something to blame. They need to take responsibility and stop putting the blame on video games, "Be concious about your choices and be responsible for your action" quoted from Peaceful Warrior. Dont put the blame in video games, if they wanted to look for the "reason why" than they should look inside themselves and take responsibility.

What's even more funny is that our politicians are trying to "talk" to these people, who are are clearly not willing to change even one bit of their lifestyle.

Just look at the result of Copenhagen. Who blocked ALL efforts to reduce the climate change? China. They clearly showed that they won't change their opinion, come hell or high water.

Look at the big picture. Of course there are some good asian people in this world. I even have some friends of this race. I am saying as a whole, the people should not be underestimated. My Chinese friends even told me he hates his own kind because they are cheap and like to only talk with others of their own kind. And if you haven't noticed, most people from some oriental Asian country never talk their other Asian friends in english even if they know how to speak it while you are in front of them such as in the grocery store among cashiers. The truth is that you are too stupid and you got to open your eyes for once if you ever want to learn about the real world. A lot of Asians are just plain rude and they punish and shun their kids for not getting all As. Do you actually think each generation will turn out good if this trend keeps continuing. I see Asians that are cool here but they were born here so they appreciate the culture and its people more while their parents would rather stare at people not like them as if they have done something wrong. And fking tell me that those fkin asians dont say stuff is "so asian". If they love asia so much they should go back. In my younger years, most of the asians of my grade level did not want anyone who was not oriental go sit at the cafeteria table they sat at. They told me straight up to my face. I wasn't mad because then I was nicer but when I grew older I really noticed how racist Asians can be. Always in their Asian groups anywhere, schools, parks, stores. You will see it.
