Not really surprising that there has been an increase of cell phone scams on eBay. One should always be cautious when purchasing off of eBay and now we are seeing cell phone scams on the popular online trading company. For the most part, eBay leaves it up to the buyer and seller to work out differences and purchasing issues. The scams are popular because of the popularity of cell phones and most involve the paying through western union, which should be a red flag. The first scam is the regular scam that occurs when someone sells a cell phone for a cheap price but never delivers it. The other scam is when someone offers a cell phone but in actuality, is selling information on where to purchase cell phones. There are many more scams and consumers should be aware and cautious.
