Castlevania: Lords of Shadow ending treat is Solid as a Snake

solidsnake_solo With the release of Castlevania: Lords of Shadow later today, fans of the franchise will be biting into an additional treat come the end of the game. Making an appearance is no other than tough guy Solid Snake himself.

But don't get way too ahead of yourselves, guys. You'll have to finish the whole game first before you can even catch him in action. After that, all you have to do is head off to the Extras menu and from there you can opt to play the game again, but this time as Solid Snake instaed of Gabriel Belmont. You can even choose to give Snake the bandana to wear or not.

Now isn't that just groovy? Konami releases Castlevania: Lords of Shadow on October 5, 2010 for the PS3 and Xbox 360.

a skin of Snake over Gabriel? So it'd be Snake using the combat cross and all the magic and stuffs. Or will it be actual Snake with guns and C4? lol

too bad Rising wasn't out yet. Maybe we'd be able to play as Raiden with his sword action lol.

Can't wait to go home to check this out!

You are right, a skin doesn't cut the mustard, it should be a different game play.. like Julius on Castlevania :Aria of Sorrow.

That's so dumb its not funny. Snake doesn't even fit in with the time period or setting.

Have Alucard or Simon Belmont as the unlockable characters. They at the least fit in with the time period.

You don't get to play as Snake. You unlock a MGS Snake outfit for Gabriel Belmont.

I think this is cool. Kinda like being able to play Prince of Persia in the Assassin's Creed skin.

Spoiler free* I just beat the game myself, and you cannot play as Snake, you get the option of the headband, but Gabriel's hair is so thick you can barely notice it anyway, the only big standout is the eyepatch, which you'll only see for at most a couple seconds, considering the camera is always 40 feet away from you at least and only appears in the quick button pressing combat sequences, not in cutscenes, so don't get your hopes up =(
