Hot off the press from Konami's Gamescom press conference in Cologne, Castlevania: Lords of Shadow has finally received a release date

 

 

According to the announcement, the latest 3D installment of the Castlevania franchise will be available in North America on October 5 and will launch in Europe on October 7 of this year. Developed by Mercury Steam with the help of Hideo Kojima, the game follows Gabriel Belmont as he tries to discover the true meaning of sacrifice amidst murder and betrayal.

im surprised there hasny been much info released on this game....seeing how they seem to be getting everyone riled up by saying kojima will be "helping out" or whatever

They keep mentioning Kojima because it's a selling point, Kojima is one of the most talented persons in the industry. Same thing would happen if Miyamoto helped make the next Megaman or something

It seems from the video, the unresponsive jumping/attack is back. They really need to add an attack cancel to most games like this. In my opinion anyway.
