How mANY TIMES HAS THIS HAppened to yOU? yOU'RE TYPing along, theN NOTICE suddenLy, you'VE GoT a bUNCh of cAPiTaLS oN tHE pAge wherE THeY SHOULdN't bE...Or perhaps you can't access a web page or a file because that dAMnable thing keeps screwing up your "CaSe-SEnsitIVE" pASsworD?
We don't know about you, but Pierter Hintjens of Belgian software company iMatrix is mad as hell and isn't gonna take it anymore. He has made it his holy crusade to remove the "CapsLock" key from keyboards all over the world. In his blog on Slashdot, he said: "Sure, there are more serious problems to solve but please, think of the children! How am I going to explain to my kids why some of the most valuable keyboard real estate is squatted by a large, useless key that above all you must not press!"
Hintjens has launched a new blog called cappsoff.blogspot.com and has gone so far as to start a CappsOff forum on Google. The forum has 300 members, and its growing.
It's true that the Caps Lock key can be a problem. Still, there are software solutions already available that can deactivate the key, as well as many custom keyboards on the market. Is Hintjens overreacting...? What do YoU thInK?

Tthe annoying thing is when im typing and i bump caps when i go for shift or "A", but like i said it lights up and it is not that big of a problem....
I think it should just be moved to a less used part of the keyboard...

I was trying to shave my genitals today, to make them a little more comfortable for summer. I had no razor, so I was using some titanium scissors. Needless to say, I missed and accidentally removed a sizable chunk from the head of my penis. I passed out at first, but I woke up an hour or so later, covered in blood. I was able to stop the bleeding...but I wanted to put it back on and hope it would all be better.... I used super glue. It's holdong on there, but theres still blood, and a really bad line around the chunk, and it hurts oh god so bad... I have no medical insurance so I can't go to the doctor, and I live by myself so I can't get anyone else to help.
I need someone who knows something about medical stuff. What can I do? I don't know, if I leave it on there with the glue will it heal itself back on? Help me please, it hurts a lot. I've already taken 4 extra strength tylenol and its not helping...

STFU AND LEARN HOW TO TYPE
AND IF YOU ABSOLUTELY HAVE TO, YOU CAN JUST POP THE KEY OFF WITH A SCREWDRIVER

there is also a hardware soltion too. my capslock button (thinkpad R50e) has a 'step' on the right side, so between capslock and a, there is a dip. so if your finger goes too far left and hits that dip (lightly) caps will not be activated; however if its hit hard enough, it will bring enought of the button down to activate caps.
