Capcom already planning DLC for Marvel vs. Capcom 3

It's still a long way before Marvel vs. Capcom 3 comes to town, but a GameStop leak reveals that Capcom is planning to release a special edition for the game. No surprises there. What makes this info interesting is that the publisher is leaving out two characters from the disc to release them later as DLC.

The Marvel vs. Capcom 3 special edition will include download vouchers for Jill Valentine and Shuma Gorath - both veterans from the previous MvC. Those who won't be picking up the special ed can get them four weeks after launch as DLC, most likely for a price.

The package also includes an exclusive 12-page comic written by the MvC 3 story writer Frank Tieri, an art book, a Steelbook with more art in it, and one month subscription for Marvel Digital Comics. The entire set including the game itself will cost you US$ 69.99.
