Call of Duty: Black Ops game modes explained, single-player is epic |

Sometimes it's fun being a loner in-game -- although gamers have been unfairly generalized as actual loners in real life too, but that's another matter altogether. Treyarch recognizes this need for a one-man fight every once in a while, and so they brought the single-player campaign to Call of Duty: Black Ops. Mark Lamia explains more in an interview with MTV Multiplayer.
The Treyarch studio head explains that the Black Ops campaign will exclusively be a single-player act. Yes, there will be a multiplayer campaign of course, but that's an entirely separate thing altogether.
Said Lamia, "Single-player is the epic, cinematic, seat-of-your-pants thrill ride that you star in." He goes on to differentiate it from the multiplayer segment. "Then there's multiplayer, when you want to play competitive with your friends and really chisel and hone your skills and do that addictive experience."
The other mode to be featured is the co-op mode, which is "for when you want to have a blast with your friends, just sitting on the couch and having an awesome co-op experience. we're crafting unique co-op modes around that experience, but it is different than what people think."
Andthere are modes to be uncovered in the near future, hopefully two weeks from now. But at least, with the information we have right now, it's good to know there will be choices.

There's no WAY it can be as bad as MW2 was. That game was abysmal. Hell, Treyarch already took out Commando. They already re-added dedicated servers. They took out retarded game-ending killstreaks. They do good things, and yet, commoners like you will bitch anyway because it's not IW. Keep bitchin' and enjoy your crappy-ass MW2 game. The only people who like that game are people too stupid to realize its gaping numerous flaws and those too in-denial that refuse to admit it's a pile of trash.

Cause honestly it's probably one of the better FPS games out at the time being, especially in the MP sense of the matter. Yeah I agree, nukes suck but they are pretty rare, lack of dedicated servers sucks but I haven't had any real problems with that yet besides occasional d/c or lag and I got 4 days logged in.
I am just curious what current FPS's are you guys are enjoying right now?
Every game has glitches and problems. Mass Effect is a highly revered game and it is riddled with glitches and graphical errors.

basically your calling a large population of the world stupid, simply because their taste is different from you

Yeah, I mean - it's not like any of the other CoD games were short or anything.
(ALL of them)

Are you dumb? This game has been in development since 2008. MW3 will be made by some other Activision studio, or maybe what's left of Infinity Ward. This game takes place in the late 60s and possibly the 70s since the game will take place in multiple locations with more than one timeline, as well as more than one playable main important character (not some lame-ass fighter pilot who dies two seconds later).
There's no friggin' way they could do this much work in two months, even IF the project got transferred over.

CoD:BO is taking what MW2 did and fixing some of the crap it should of fixed. For me though I will still enjoy the characters from the MW series more but I am honestly hoping the story will be much better than in WaW. I didnt like the story in that one.
Killstreak wise Im very happy to see it cap at 11 and not 25. The Nuke was cool but I would rather battle to the end than end a good game with a Tac. Nuke.
Treyarch I think did a great job cornerstoning the Halo Credit System to be added into the CoD world as well as being able to record your games just the same or hopefully better.
I am very much looking forward to being able to record my games and posting them online for others to watch. Even small clips of neat kills.
I dont see why everyone here is shit talking each other. You all play the same game title no matter who made it. Your still playing CoD. Doesnt matter if its MW or any of the other titles. Were all one big happy family compared to those idjuts who play Halo and like chasing each other with hammers.
