First-person shooters are quite popular in the West, and the Call of Duty franchise makes millions out of it. Call of Duty: Black Ops set a new record in the UK and is now the biggest entertainment launch in history. That's for the West, what about Japan? Well wouldn't you know it, the difference in gaming preferences didn't stop the sales monster from coming out on top. Now how many did they sell?
Combining the PS3 and Xbox 360 versions of the game, Call of Duty: Black Ops sold 159,000 copies in Japan during its first week. It's nowhere near the 5.6 million it sold in the West at day one, but still enough to top all the other games.
Here's the top ten, according to the Media Create charts:
01. Call of Duty: Black Ops (PS3) - 129,000 / NEW
02. Super Kasekihorida (DS) - 43,000 / NEW
03. Pokemon Black / White (DS) - 40,000 / 4,451,000
04. Super Mario Collection Special Pack (Wii) - 38,000 / 566,000
05. Tactics Ogre: Unmei no Wa (PSP) - 37,000 / 214,000
06. World Soccer Winning Eleven 2011 (PSP) - 36,000 / NEW
07. Call of Duty: Black Ops (Xbox 360) - 30,000 / NEW
08. Tongari Boushi to Mahou no Otana (DS) - 25,000 / 65,000
09. World Soccer Winning Eleven 2011 (PS3) - 22,000 / 324,000
10. Agarest Senki 2 (PS3) - 21,000 / NEW

Thats cheap! They know Sony are good.
As for BOPS i don c any diffences.
they both same... as for online isnt much at all in 360 ... whos stupid to pay for the online stuff.. are u nuts! They are milking u guys! But for WoW i understand abit why.. But for 360 no.. not at all.
If u want best online experience grab the pc lol.

You R right....but more likely next gen consoles in general ruined PC gaming & I'm sure it will get even worse for PC gaming in the future too. But maybe PCs might just end up as an MMO gaming platform in the end???Wot do ya think!
