How is Epic making Bulletstorm even more epic? By releasing an Epic Edition that comes with beta access to one of the most highly-anticipated upcoming Xbox 360 games.
Buying Bulletstorm's Epic Edition (US$ 59.99) guarantees you early access to the public beta for Gears of War 3. Not just that, you also get a cool 25,000 experience points when playing online, visual upgrades for the game's iconic leash, a deadly Peace Maker Carbine, boots and armor.
“Epic is poised to break new ground in 2011 with Gears of War 3 and Bulletstorm,” said Epic Games president, Dr. Michael Capps.
“With these two highly anticipated triple-A experiences comes a unique opportunity to do something to really excite players, and that’s what we intend to accomplish with the support of Microsoft Game Studios and EA. This is for the shooter fans.”
Bulletstorm comes out on Xbox 360, PS3 and PC on Feb. 22, 2011 in North America and Feb. 25, 2011 in Europe. Of course, only the Xbox 360 version will come with the Gears of War 3 beta code.
