Brand new CoD: Black Ops DLC announced

A spankin' brand new DLC is coming your way to CoD: Black Ops. This was announced by no other than Treyarch Studios' Dan Bunting in Major Nelson's latest podcast show.

According to him, the new DLC will be called First Strike, and should bring you four new multiplayer maps, plus one new zombie map. Bunting also gave out the price: 1200 MSP (US$ 15).

The four new maps are the following: Discovery, based on the Reznov mission (location: Antarctic research station), Kowloon (location: Kownloon rooftops), Berlin Wall (location: a fight at Checkpoint Charlie), and Stadium (location: US hockey rink). The zombie map will be called Ascension.

Bunting also disclosed that it was actually previously arranged to be an Xbox 360 timed-exclusive. As for the date, they're looking at releasing it on February 1, 2011.

We'll be keeping our eyes peeled for that.

That's absolutely ridiculous! Heck maybe you should fix the freaking lagging on our part on PS3! And why is it that 360 get's it first screw? Da hell with your exclusive contract to XBL! Treyarch you suck pig's a$$es! You already ruined my Christmas with that childish Zombie's crap! And You might as well sell this game to 6-12 year brat's cause that's all I see in Zombie matches kids! We need more variety like this Blinding weather, Swampy area's with heavy rain down pour with enough to confuse the camper's Perhaps that level where you have to go under water and take your enemy out?.Just something new not old!

New patch should include custom sound track's as well you I can't stand boring sound track's in Online games or even on Zombies Geez! Hurry up already Activision!

The moment Killzone 3 comes out, Black Ops is going to Gamestop. The PS3 version is so bad after that last patch.

People need to stop buying these DLCs so they don't sell it for a high price.

You guys have really gone low... the WaW maps were 800 ms points, and the economy was still messed up. Now they are charging the same as Modded Warfail 2's maps. Looks like it's time to go back to WaW.

As if making the fastest selling game of all time wasn't enough making millions of dollars of profit, and still you expect us to shell out another 1200MS points, which is if you think about it, 1500MS points due to the fact there are only 1000MS & 500MS points available, to purchase these over priced map packs, Activision you SUCK big time.
There is no way in hell i am going to purchase those maps, never did like Black Ops anyway, i am going back to the great COD WaW, and even COD MW2, way better maps on those 2 games anyway!!!!
And FYI i never did buy the over priced COD MW2 Map Packs either.

i dont know why but we are always left out in these things for nintedo wii black ops only has one zombie map which is kino der toten also we dont have all the killstreaks that xbox or ps3 has which makes no sence and we can NOT even customize our own clan tag or nothing it would be so nice if we get atleast one new map or weapon or SOMTHING!!! AHHHHHHHH!!!!!!
