Gearbox Software is planning to release a new patch for Borderlands that will raise the level cap and rebalance the hit RPG shooter accordingly.
Speaking at the studios press panel at PAX in Seattle, Gearbox’s Randy Pitchford revealed that they are going to release a "free update to Borderlands that will both rebalance the original game around the level cap and increase the level cap for everyone."
Pitchford said that the update will increase the level cap to 69 as compared to the previous cap of 61. It will be out sometime in October 12 with the release of the game-of-the-year edition of the game. In addition, he also revealed that the latest downloadable content pack for the game, Claptrap's New Robot Revolution, will be released on September 28 for US$ 10.
