As if it wasn't before, Gearbox Software's FPS-RPG hybrid, Borderlands, is now a certified hit. It is now part of the PS3 and Xbox 360's respective "Hits" lines.

You can now get the Greatest Hits (for PS3) and Platinum Hits (Xbox 360) versions of the game for US$ 30 apiece. There are just standalones, though, and don't come with any of the DLC packs which typically come with a US$ 10 price tag.

The GotY edition still sounds like more bang for your buck if you want the DLC.

60 for 40 bucks worth of DLC is definitely worth it. because 30 for a game that has 40 dollars worth of DLC? I mean its cool if you wanna try the game, but Borderlands is easily one of the best games with lots of DLC out there.
