Bulletstorm never gave any pretenses about it being a wholesome game that you can leave your kids with to enjoy. It's brutal, it's bloody, it's violent, and it should deserve every inch of M for Mature rating from the ESRB. It should be no cause for concern, though, at least according to Cliff Bleszinski. After all, it's all just for fun.

In an recent interview with CVG, the outspoken Epic Games design exec boldly proclaimed interactive entertainment as "the new rock and roll". Not that it should then justify the violence and the over-the-top adult humor present in the game, but to be targeted by anti-violence groups for it should be a bit flattering.

We'll let Bleszinski himself expound on those thoughts. They're his, after all.
