Best Buy officially announces gaming magazine, @Gamer

Exactly a month ago, we broke the news that Best Buy has partnered up with Future US to bring you a new gaming magazine. Today, Best Buy makes the announcement official with a press release for @Gamer.

Every month, you can expect the new magazine to cover the best of some 30 to 40 games, as well as hardware items, in an easy-to-digest format, all to make your choosing process for purchase much easier. Not only that, but they'll also be offering at least US$ 20 worth of exlusive offers exclusive, of course, to all Best Buy stores.

Senior VP and General Manager of Best Buy's Home Entertainment group says of the magazine:

"By developing @Gamer, with its compelling content and exclusive offers, we hope to create a trusted go-to resource for gamers. We're thrilled to partner with Future to provide fresh, knowledgeable and expert industry insights for our customers."

If you want to subscribe, you'll need US$ 19.99 for 10 issues, while individual, in-store edition copies are at US$ 5.99. Make sure you get the very first issue as it also includes almost US$ 150 worth of exclusive offers and discounts on games and gaming accessories. As for the succeeding issues, you can find at least US$ 20 worth of more of these offers. The only requirement for you to enjoy these in-magazine offers is to be enrolled in Best Buy's gaming loyalty program, Reward Zone Gamers Club.

That's not too stringent a requirement.
