Bayonetta budget version for Japan announced, to come with Vanquish trailer

Sega did say there will be some Bayonetta-related news to come out this sometime soon. Could this be it? Cause Sega's just announced a budget version of the game for Japan. It even comes with some bonus items to boot.

The new Bayonetta version gives you reversible cover art donning some spanking new illustration from Adam Hughes. Also, it brings with it a collection of trailers, as well as a video of Vanquish. A little sneakpeek into what's coming up next from Platinum Games.

 

 

 

 

 

Anyhow, those who get a copy of the game for the PS3 will be getting the extra content on the same Blu-ray disc. You know how it goes for the Xbox 360 -- you'll get another disc for the videos.

 

 

 

 

 

Bayonetta's re-release version is priced at JPY 3,990 (US$ 46) and will comeout (again) on September 2, 2010.

Perhaps, maybe they might've used the spare time to actually FIX the PS3 version. I don't want to buy a freakin' 360 just to play that game. I want to play it on my own PS3 :(

The PS3 version is not nearly as bad as everyone made it out to be. As mies said, the patch reduced the load issues, and there is maybe two times in the entire game where there is frame rate clipping issues or graphic lag. These small issues shouldn't be enough to keep you from playing a fun, overall very good game, or requiring you to buy a different system.
