Bayonetta 2 confirmed

Impressed with Bayonetta? How would you like to have a sequel of the game? If you're a fan, then you'll be glad to know that there's going to be a Part 2.

The official confirmation was made via Hideki Kamiya's Twitter account, where he confirmed that Bayonetta 2 is in fact in development. A fan asked if there will be a sequel, and when it will be shown to the public first.

 

 

"In next year's TGS will we see a first look on the new Bayonetta? Or at least when are we going to?" To which Kamiya replied, "You'll see soon." He also later on divulged, again via Twitter, that they've already got DLC plans for Bayonetta 2.

 

 

Now all that fans have to do is keep their patience and wait for the official reveal of Bayonetta 2.

It sold really well and it's the best hack n slash game ever made. The graphics the sound the gameplay the speed the control, it's all there, it's just such a top shelf game.

Even if you hate the characters and the story it's still worth playing it's that well made.

Well I think this time the PS3 version of Bayonetta 2 will be superior. Platinum games learn't their lesson with the first Bayonetta game. Remember Vanquish? That game was superior on PS3. Both the PS3 and Xbox 360 version of Vanquish were almost exactly the same! So I guess it's safe to say that both version will be nearly exactly the same. Can't wait!

It would take catastrophic game-ending glitches exclusive on the 360 version to make it inferior. Simply put fast pace action games like Bayonetta, and Vanquish plus a controller sized for twelve year old hands like the "six-axis" =/=(does not equal) superiority but instead equals hand cramps. Which is a major detracting factor in choosing system versions for many gamers including myself who own both the PS3, and 360. You are not going to find any factor more important then controls which even negates the very rare occasions where PS3 versions have slightly better graphics.

Just some constructive criticism but "Learn't" isn't a word. Learned is the past tense for the verb Learn. Regardless there was absolutely no lesson here considering last time I checked the 360 version moved more copies.

**** YEAH!! been hopin for this announcement for awhile. you can bad-mouth the sex appeal all you want, but Bayonetta sets a standard for action games that hasn't been met since DMC 3 and Ninja Gaiden. I look forward to some more combo-spammage and awesome weapons!

This is the best news I've heard in a long time. I can't wait. With a slew of shooters, failed JRPG's, boring action titles and uninspired (albeit pretty racers) - this is all I have left to look forward to. Bayonetta, after playing through on ever difficulty for both characters, unlocking the Sai Fon's, doing the lost chapters etc. etc. to this day still has plenty of pick up and play value for me. I cannot wait! I'm going to buy 2 copies for when I burn a hole through the disc. The gameplay is so tight, and unlike many games, always allows you the opportunity to play flawlessly. Phenomenal stuff and I understand why a lot of people don't understand that - but the ones that do really know how much a hidden gem / diamond in the rough this series is. GO BAYO!

Gotta say, a Bayonetta sequel definitely has my attention. I enjoyed the hell outta that game. Yeah, the sex appeal is so obvious that it sometimes makes your eyes roll, but the gameplay was intense and the art style was amazing.
I have the PS3 version and it treats me just fine, so I don't know what all the gripe is about. Maybe it got patched.
Anyways, Bayonetta 2, if it's real, will definitely be something to keep my eye on.

I'll buy it as long as it isn't RPG like infinite space because I never touch that genre :P A spin off sounds good too! I always enjoy variety in games such as when Hideki added Nero to the DMC series in the 4th installment. I want to see more Virgil too... he could have his own damn game ffs. Anyways, Bayonetta 2 would be amazing, just hurry up and finish Anarchy Reigns first!

One of da best games i ever played :D :P and b4 any1 says i havent played it jst move on to da next 1 cause i own a copy of it so dont do mi anyways it had amazing story line, game play, plots, moves, etc. Looking forward for the sequel and hopefully the sequels to come after that. CANT WAIT!!!!!!!! :cry: ;-)
