Battlefield: Bad Company 2 gets soldier kit DLC

A new set of downloadable kit will be hitting the Xbox 360 version of Battlefield: Bad Company 2 tomorrow, developer DICE has announced. But hold on folks, there's a catch, according to the games official blog:

There are 4 kits, one for each class, specific unique uniforms and camouflaged weapons gives you a visual edge. Recruited strictly from other high-level Special Operations units such as Delta Force and Spetsnaz, the Special Activities groups – SPECACT - are the elite of the elite, used mainly for covert operations and other high-risk missions in areas where conventional troops cannot be used.

With the 4 kit specific unique uniforms and the camouflaged SPECACT personal M16A2, UMP-45, MG3 and M95 SNIPER you have a visual edge on the Battlefield, showing that you’re a force to be reckoned with. The pack also includes 12 new awards and 4 Achievements.

In North America the kit upgrades are only available on Xbox 360 using the Dr Pepper codes printed on special promotional cans.

In Europe and the UK you can get hold of the kit upgrades for:

Xbox Live Marketplace
160 MS points per kit upgrade
440 MS points for bundle pack (all kits)

But what about the PS3 and PC version of the game? Well according to DICE:

"The kit upgrades will also be coming to PS3 and PC a little later on, we’ll post the exact release dates here as soon as we can."

What's up with all these gay studios making timed exclusive DLC for the 360?
I say this is bullshit.. we bought the same game, at the same price, with the same content.. So how are we getting treated poorer than the others?

you Ps3 users stop bitching .. MS isnt paying anyone for this its the devs themselves doing it .. and they are probly doing it cuz the games sell more on 360 then on the other 2 systems.. so why not rewards the system with the highest sales first..

didnt they comfirm that PC had the most users online, hense why they cannot even fkn keep servers up when the game was even launched.... this is a bad move but then again PC users get everything free... i guess they wanna milk some cash first :)

that M$ pays devs for early release on the 360. Some microcrap people call you up and say "hey release it on ours for 10 000 dollars" whos gunna turn that down? Not like it works anyway cuz us PS3 users are chill we just wait. Haha fail tactic fails.

Seriously I thought I got away from this shit when I stpped play cod but here we go. We all bought this game at the same price and I bought it the day of. Even if it sells more on any system wouldn't you think you would want to show a little love for the system that isn't doing so well? I mean you need to make it appealing or something but fuck it

Come on, enough with charging so damn much for DLC. The PS3 was expensive, the games are expensive, and DLC is way too pricey. How about free since we already bought your friggen machine and game! Seriously man!

I especially felt ripped off when as soon as i bought BC2 there were only a couple maps that came with the game but of course they had a few more for sale... bastard$!!

Atleast MW2 hooked up a shit-ton of MAPS with the original game. Love you MW2 developers!
