Avenged Sevenfold invades Rock Band next week

Heavy metal favorites Avenged Sevenfold joins Latin music superstar Juanes next week in the Rock Band music store, Harmonix and MTV Games have announced.

Available on the PS3, Xbox 360 and Wii starting July 27, these tracks will include:

Avenged Sevenfold – “Nightmare”
Avenged Sevenfold – “Scream”
Avenged Sevenfold – “Seize the Day”
Juanes – “A Dios le Pido”
Juanes – “FíjateBien”
Juanes – “Gotas de Agua Dulce”
Juanes – “La Camisa Negra”
Juanes – “Mala Gente”
Juanes – “Yerbatero”

All original master recordings, each track will set you back US$ 1.99 / £0 .99 / 160 MS Points / 200 Wii Points. The “Avenged Sevenfold Pack 01” and the “Juanes Pack01” ” on the other hand will cost US$ 5.49/ £ 2.49/ 440 MS Points and US$ 9.99/ £ 4.99/ 800 MS Points respectively.

"I love how everyone hates the fact that Avenged Sevenfold puts out songs that span a wide variety of Genres. Or the fact that they say Avenged Sevenfold sucks after Waking The Fallen. If you want a band that puts out songs that all sound the same then go listen to Nickleback. Nightmare has tracks that incorporate a wide range of instruments and styles. You have Acoustic tracks and Piano tracks that are light as well as some heavy tracks. Shadow's is singing in higher registers as well growling and screaming. I think Nightmare was suppose to incorporate everything Avenged Sevenfold has previously made and I personally thing they did a great job. If you disagree then oh well you are entitled to your own opinion..."

Saw Avenge 7fold last night live. The word "poser" is apt for all facets of the band. From the overblown music to the orchestrated mayhem onstage, it all reeks of "trying so hard". So not metal, so not rock and roll, they simply suck at everything.
