Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood gets Collectors' Edition, creepy Jack in the Box included

It's my opinion that collectors' editions live and die by how cool the extra freebies are, and if we're going by that criteria then the one for Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood is about as cool as they come. Money-wise, though, it's a bit more expensive than your usual CE.

While most special editions have around US$ 20 tacked on to the regular retail price, Ubisoft is adding an extra US$ 40 to Brotherhood's. For US$ 99.99, you get an exclusive art book, a bonus disc with a making-of video, preview of the comic, trailers, and the game soundtrack. Two exclusive single-player maps and a hard copy strategy map of Rome are also included along with a creepy little Jack in the Box.

You can also get a different Jack in the Box depending where you buy the CE from. The Harlequin model is a GameStop exclusive while the Doctor will be available in all other retailers. They all become availabe on November 16.

imo the 360's jackinthebox looks better...but the green streaks on the case/disc makes it look so damn lame -_-

the ps3's on the other hand just looks so damn sexii....

The Harlequin (the one shown with the PS3 version) is actually a GameStop exclusive, so even if you order the 360 version you still get it as long as you buy from GameStop.

I actually want both damn Jack in the Boxes.

Nice, but Brotherhood doesn't need a collector's. AC3 does, not this side-story.

why would you buy a CE if youre only going to end up selling it?

arent CEs meant to be collected?

He obviously meant that it will be hard to sell by Gamestop or any store, to the customer. Not that he's going to buy it and resell it. Duh.

If you want the expensive CE ever, you should HAD brought Halo 3 Legendary CE. That was over $100 and well worth it for a Spartan helmet/case, game comes in a different case unlike the standard, and a video disc(red vs blue promos & more), the helmet can be covered up with a special sheet labelled "Halo 3", and the box has a special wrap-around poster(can be disassembled for viewing).

@rapturestar: At my store we're selling off those halo 3 editions with the helmet for 5$, LOL. I think they can`'t stand those big boxes anymore. I didn't work great I suppose.
