Assassin's Creed 2 slow start is 'necessary' |

Although Ubisoft's Assassin's Creed 2 (PS3 and Xbox 360) has more or less gotten the approving nod of critics all over, some people are pointing out what they deem to be a flaw in the game's introduction. The complaint: it's too slow.
Game writer Corey May, however, justifies the slow pace of the introduction as he sits down for an interview with VG247. He said that "it was necessary to spend time with Ezio as a carefree adolescent" for gamers to have a clearer picture of how he was before he entered the world of Assassins. He does concede, however, that maybe they could have "refiined the sequence so that it either moved faster or provided the player with more action-oriented activities."
Still, he maintains firm in the position that the introduction must be more than just the token five minutes. Because for him, it is "the idea of beginning of the game" is what's most important.

assassinq creed story naration is awsome " my name is azio and this my story "
we have here a solid story and a good game play and uses of assissns creeds worlds ,
this episode can have the name of " the begigning " , ive played it and this is my opinion :
1 - intelegent 3d modeling , low than the 1st but render good
2 - very nice story and naration
3 - very good lighting night and day
4 - story line is perfect " ZORO "
5 - i realy wich to see more indoor POP like platform and mechanics
6 - AI is perfect " the way that enemy chek identites is done very well and realistic
7 - music , i love medival tones
so pls if you want to whine look for a game who ripped you and now is over down of games shart " its a fps game and you paid hight for it then you played only 4 hours lol "

but if you want just good graphics and story just watch toy story... (not that assassins creed 2 looks that special)
but if you want a good GAME whats better than MW2?
even Street fighter and Grand theft auto pale in comparison to the longevity and fun had in mw2 multiplayer

tell me isnt stupid to play a stelth game without stealth moves like lean to chek corners , isnt stupid to play MP without lean to hide body then shooting since one shoot kill in HC mode , isnt stupid to play a game with imported 3d models while COD4 hade a nice distructive 3d modeling . isnt stupid to play a game with a squad with a free for all strategy , and enemy armors turns just like PACman pls chek " the MCdonadls level "
why i speak about this joke again .
so AC2 is awsome game , the low start is a way to explain the story and familiarize with controles , and i think that feet well with sush a game with economic system and RPG like story line adventure .
unlike MW2 who puted players on training even veterant one and changed some keyboard controles , thats just a stupid idea " why not a quation like "Are you a COD 4 player " then just jump us in real tactical action not "army of two like "

It did start off slow but I didn't consider it a flaw. It seemed obvious to me that before someone is an assassin they don't go running around killing everyone and get weapon and that it would take a major event for someone to turn into an assassin. That's exactly what Ubisoft provided. No complaints from me.

About AC1 ...that starts fast,but then it slows down like hell and it gets you bored in no-time as its the same darn thing always and always,nothing new,until the ending parts where it gets a bit fair,but dont even DARE to compare AC1 and AC2...AC 1 had better graphics but sucked,and AC2 had slower graphics but owns.
So unless ur a HD-Bitch,you're looking for a nice storyline and FTP(Fun-to-play) game ,not for a HD Graphics,no storyline and sucking game.
