Angry Birds has no doubt achieved success through the App Store, so it won't be much of a surprise to see them try the same in other systems. The game already aspires to be in PSN's minis and DSiWare, but it seems that they want to be part of the other active platforms as well. What would you say to Angry Birds for the Xbox 360 and Wii?
Angry Birds, not to be confused with Angry BirdZ, is reportedly headed to the Xbox 360 and Wii's respective download services. Despite rumors of a possible sequel to the App Store giant, Chillingo and developer Rovio both maintain that it's not yet time. Their priority, for now, would be to touch base on the current platforms before going on to make an Angry Birds 2.
Peter Vesterbacka, CEO of Rovio, also hinted that they might go with an Angry Birds spinoff as well, this time coming from the eyes of the swine.
With the inclusion of the Wii and Xbox 360, Angry Birds will be aiming to make its presence felt across all the major gaming platforms.
