Amazon claims Max Payne 3 release is January 2011

Max Payne 3 had been delayed to 2011, so said Rockstar back in July. As to when exactly in 2011 it'll be coming out, they didn't say. But Amazon did.

According to the online retailer, the third iteration of the detective-tripping action franchise will be out by January 31st. No official word yet from Rockstar but if a prospective date narrowing down your wait for it makes it better, then we'll take it.

We'll be tagging this as rumor for now, though.

Cool its about time! But they need to I think all publisher's need to add Custom Sound Tracks! PS3 is seriously lacking behind with anything innovative!
ROCKSTAR GTA4 Custom Sound Tracks!..PS3 sucks ass without it this is why Xbox360 kicks ass! They have Zune yes but Sony could find a solution for that as Well Winamp!..Until PS3 is Boring!

(What is the innovation on the Xbox for the next 5 years they say it will last more (if its outdated now, just think in 5 years time everybody playing games in 3D and serious graphics...))
