While the Dark Elves of Warhammer Online: Age of Reckoning have struck the first blow against their High Elf cousins during the initial assault on Ulthuan, the war is still far from over. The Druchii have now set their sights on the province of Chrace and the mountain passes contained therein.

Chrace is of strategic value to the defending High Elves, as the terrain offers many positional advantages. Furthermore, the area is guarded by fierce predators such as the White Lion - after which a noble Asur regiment has been named.

Meanwhile, the Dark Elves have forced their counterparts into a defensive position at the capital city of Tor Achare, and at the fort on Blackwood Hill. The siege on these areas is but a diversion, as Malekith's real targets are the two ancient menhir stones of the Vortex, an ancient and powerful magical construct designed to siphon the turbulent energies of Chaos and prevent them from overrunning the world.

The fighting is fierce, but the High Elves slowly lose more ground to their dark cousins. Just when it seems that the Asur are being driven back yet again, news of the Phoenix King's return arrives to bring hope to the battle-weary High Elves. As to what happens next...stay tuned for more of updates on EA Mythic's Warhammer Online: Age of Reckoning as the story continues to unfold!
