Warhammer Online: Age of Reckoning - the Witch Hunter |
Ó
The new lore from Warhammer Online: Age of Reckoning talks about Sven Wilkenson, a warrior of Order in his own right. He is a Witch Hunter, and he is currently hunting down a source of evil in the region of Nordland.
In the war between good and evil, sometimes the lines aren't as clear cut as we would want. Sometimes we have to ask what evils we have to do to achieve a greater good. Such is the case with Sven, even if he doesn't realize it.
Sven believes that a witch is living in the village he is currently in. To root out this "evil" witch, he throws allegations left and right, employing various methods of "creative advancements" in interrogating his accused.
These interrogations will ultimately lead to executions. He believes that these people are harboring the witch and so does not care for their lives. Now he is asking for help from his friend, Archibald.
Perhaps there is a witch living in the village. Perhaps his methods are appropriate to root out the evil. However, do ends justify the means? This is a question you will have to ask yourself a lot once Warhammer Online goes live.
