In the story of Richard Garriott's Tabula Rasa, the war against the Bane has caused the deaths of many humans. It's not really surprising that most, if not all, of the soldiers fighting in the Allied Free Sentients have lost friends, family, and loved ones to the invading enemy. Perhaps that is why this image caught the eye of the developers from NCsoft.
The picture on top of this article was submitted by M.Eagle and is called Standing Alone in Silence. It shows a soldier pausing for a moment to remember those who have fallen during the Bane invasion.
While most of us aren't really into the whole roleplaying thing in the online game, we can't help but imagine what the soldier is thinking about when the picture was taken. So we'd like to throw the same question out to our readers. What do you think the soldier is thinking about?
