I wonder exactly how long that "lifetime" will be?

I was completely unaware this game was still active. Can't imagine the games doing to well since the last accurate number of subscribers is 100k.

Which is a far cry from Cryptics claim of a million players; which they later revealed encompassed STO and some of their other titles, and also included all players that were in closed and open beta.

Actually the game is doing very well. Just because the game has relatively low subscriber numbers compared to a game like World of Warcraft doesn't mean its not successful. In fact, STO is the only franchise that seems to have made Atari any kind of money. They're clinging to it like a life saver, and the game is still improving.
