LotRO: Shadows of Angmar lorebook - the ranger NPC Amdir |
Ó
Turbine Inc. has just updated the lore book of MMORPG The Lord of the Rings Online: Shadows of Angmar. This time focus was given on the non-playable character (NPC) ranger simply named Amdir.During the time when the Nazgul entered the shire in search of Frodo Baggins, the rangers learned that there was a strange connection between their presence and the increase of brigand activity in Bree-land.
This is also the exact time when Amdir travelled from the Shire to Archet to investigate the connection between the Nazgul and the Blackwolds.
In this place, the ranger got involved in several problems. Turbine relates this story:
The grim Ranger became embroiled in a mystery involving missing hobbits, and contended in the meantime with the distrust of Captain Brackenbrook, a retired sell-sword organizing a garrison to stave off the attacks of the Blackwold brigands.
AmdirÂ’s involvement in the affairs of Archet would eventually lead him to a dark and sinister fate.
In the MMORPG LotRO itself, players will encounter the ranger Amdir throughout the Hobbit and Man starting instances. Furthermore, he will also proved to be a pivotal character during the Bree-land Epic Prologue.
That's about it for your lore dose of The Lord of the Rings Online. Keep checking back here at QJ.NET for more updates.
